Over the past few years, we have noticed two different styles of hardwoods that have become fan favorites. Hand-scrapped -5-inch-wide boards will give you the characteristics of distressed wood that aligns well when trying to get that modern farmhouse look. While a Euro Cut will provide a more natural look that removes any glossiness and gives you a timeless look.
For solid hardwoods, it can be used on wooden subfloors and above grade only. Typically, solid hardwoods cannot go above 6’ in width due to elements and any board expansion. For Engineered hardwoods, they can be used below grade directly onto concrete or subfloor. Another great feature is that it can be wider than 6’ due to the makeup of the product.
With a prefinished hardwood install, it can be more convenient than a sight-finished floor because our crew is able to shuffle the furniture around within an area and get the whole room together within one day- all for your living convenience.
