From kitchens and bathrooms to entryways and backsplashes, professionally installed tile adds lasting beauty to your home. Superior Custom Flooring delivers high-quality tile installation that’s built to handle everyday life
Tile is one of the most versatile and durable surfaces you can add to your home. It stands up to moisture, heavy foot traffic, kids, and pets, all while giving you endless options for color, pattern, and style.
At Superior Custom Flooring, we don’t just lay tile—we carefully plan each project so the finished space looks clean, balanced, and intentional. From classic subway tile to large-format porcelain and patterned designs, we install tile that works with your home’s style and your daily life.
We work with a wide range of tile materials and styles to bring your vision to life:
Ceramic Tile – A budget-friendly, versatile option perfect for walls, backsplashes, and light to medium-traffic floors.
Porcelain Tile – Extremely durable and water-resistant, ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and high-traffic areas.
Natural Stone (Marble, Travertine, Slate, etc.) – Adds a unique, high-end look with rich color and texture.
Mosaic & Decorative Tile – Great for shower niches, accent walls, feature strips, and backsplashes.
Wood-Look & Stone-Look Tile – Get the warm look of wood or stone with the durability and easy maintenance of tile.
If you’re not sure what to choose, we’ll walk you through the pros and cons of each type based on where it’s going and how you use the space.
We focus on doing things the right way from the start, so your tile stays secure and beautiful for years.
1. In-Home Consultation & Design
We begin with a visit to your home to look at the space, discuss your ideas, and review tile options, patterns (straight lay, brick, herringbone, etc.), grout color, and layout.
2. Surface Preparation
Great tile work starts with a solid, level surface. We inspect your subfloor or wall surface, repair or reinforce as needed, and install proper underlayment, cement board, or waterproofing where required—especially in wet areas like showers.
3. Precise Layout & Cutting
We plan the layout to minimize awkward cuts and ensure the pattern looks balanced in the room. Then we carefully cut and place each tile for tight lines and clean transitions.
4. Setting the Tile
We use professional-grade adhesives and installation methods suited to your specific tile type and location, setting each tile with attention to spacing, alignment, and levelness.
5. Grouting & Sealing
Once the tile sets, we apply grout, clean the surface, and, when appropriate, seal the grout or stone tile to help protect against stains and moisture.
6. Clean-Up & Final Walk-Through
We clean up the work area and walk through the completed project with you, making sure everything looks and feels exactly how you expected.
Tile is a smart choice in many areas, including:
Kitchens – Floors, backsplashes, and even feature walls behind ranges.
Bathrooms – Floors, shower walls, tub surrounds, and niches.
Entryways & Mudrooms – Durable, easy-to-clean surfaces that handle dirt, water, and constant use.
Laundry Rooms & Utility Spaces – Moisture-resistant and low maintenance.
Fireplace Surrounds & Accent Walls – Create a focal point with decorative or textured tile.
If you’re considering radiant floor heating, tile is also an excellent surface to pair with heated floor systems.
Attention to Detail – Straight lines, consistent grout joints, and well-planned cuts make a huge difference in how your tile looks. We don’t rush the details.
Proper Prep Work – We don’t cut corners on underlayment, waterproofing, or leveling. Solid prep leads to long-lasting installation.
Design Guidance – Not sure which tile or layout will look best? We help you make smart choices that fit your style and budget.
Transparent Communication – You’ll know what to expect, when we’ll be there, and how long the project will take.
Respect for Your Home – We protect surrounding areas, keep things as neat as possible, and clean up before we leave.
